Several key participants in a landmark tour that has been awakening a new understanding of the unique power of the Ramayana, one of the great epics of the Vedic literature, spoke about their experiences on the 35-event, 10-city tour of North America.
The tour is called A New Paradigm: Veda, Consciousness, the Ramayana, and the Self — Pioneering research reveals the Veda and the Ramayana as blueprints of our body and the entire universe.
The tour also marks the release of the new book, Ramayan in Human Physiology: Discovery of the Eternal Reality of the Ramayan in the Structure and Function of Human Physiology, by Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D.
In his book, Dr Nader shows the precise correlation between the events, locations, and characters in the Ramayana and the function and structure of the human physiology. This discovery, developed under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, has brought an entirely new level of understanding to the field of Vedic knowledge; one purpose of the 'New Paradigm' tour is to bring this new knowledge to many people who have a natural interest in Veda and Vedic literature.
The tour began in southern California and the San Francisco Bay area; the itinerary continued through Vancouver, Chicago, the Midwestern US, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York City, and Washington, DC.
In addition to Dr Nader, there is a rotating list of other speakers, including renowned quantum physicist Dr John Hagelin, award-winning film director David Lynch, and business leader Ramani Ayer.
At the event in San Francisco, Shiv Sagar spoke. Mr Sagar is the grandson of Ramanand Sagar, the creator of the popular Ramayana television series which was viewed by 600 million people around the world.
Howard Chancellor, PhD, a researcher in human potential who is the host of the tour, added that the meetings, though open to the public, are often geared towards people of Indian heritage, those who already know the story of the Ramayana intimately.
He said, 'It's really been quite an experience to see the response in the Indo-American and Indo-Canadian communities, people of Indian heritage who are hearing [this] knowledge for the first time.'
Dr Chancellor concluded that when Dr Nader spoke, it 'completely charmed the audience'.
