Reports from the beginning stages in California of the 'New Paradigm' tour of 10 North American cities told of highly enthusiastic responses to the knowledge being presented, and to the whole event.
The tour, by Tony Nader, MD, PhD, and other leading scientists, as well as artists and business leaders, is titled: 'A New Paradigm: Veda, Consciousness, the Ramayana, and the Self'.
In each venue, the event has been exploring the 'meeting point of science and spirituality' in three main themes: the sounds of the Veda as 'blueprints' that structure the physiology on every level; the applications of this discovery on the collective level of society through large peace-creating groups of Maharishi Vedic Pandits; and the profound correlation between the characters, details, and happenings of the Ramayana with every part of the human physiology—described in Ramayan in Human Physiology, the new book by Dr Nader, which is being released on the tour.

A number of events on the tour are being held for members of the Indo-American and Indo-Canadian communities, including groups of Indian medical doctors. Audiences in general have been described as 'riveted' by the knowledge—very enthusiastic to hear more about it, and giving many spontaneous standing ovations, both during and at the conclusion of Dr Nader's talks.

The events for the Indian community, often held in the evening, usually end with a sumptuous meal. Participants have described audiences becoming so deeply engaged in and enlivened by the knowledge presentations, continuing to ask question after question of Dr Nader, that no one wants to leave the hall—even when the dinner is long delayed.
'There is tremendous appreciation for Dr Nader among these gatherings of Indians,' said Howard Chancellor, PhD, a researcher in human potential who is the host of the tour. Those in attendance are not necessarily deeply familiar with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes, he said. In introducing Dr Nader, Dr Chancellor explains that he was honoured by Maharishi with the title Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, of the Global Country of World Peace, the head of Maharishi's worldwide organizations. It's impressive to see 'the depth of respect and appreciation in which Maharishi was held', Dr Chancellor said, and how that carries forward in terms of their great appreciation for Dr Nader.
Dr Chancellor also mentioned that Dr Nader's book, Ramayan in Human Physiology, is available for distribution now,* and is 'great preparation for the seminar' he is giving in each location. 'Just having the book provides a beautiful taste—actually a full meal of this knowledge' that Dr Nader has brought out, Dr Chancellor said.
The tour is co-sponsored by Maharishi Foundation and the Global Peace Initiative; the events in each venue also have numerous locals sponsors and hosts.
