Dr Benjamin Feldman: Maharishi's gift of self-sufficiency - Part II

Dr Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance and Planning of the Global Country of World Peace, speaks about the action being taken to bring about the experience of Heaven on Earth to everyone on Earth, as an elaboration of the knowledge of the fundamental reality of life that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has brought to the world.

Dr Feldman continued his talk saying that what is beautiful is that that interaction of the Self with the Self is through memory—memory of the most essential character, memory brought to is ultimate level.

'What Maharishi says is the blessings of Guru Dev*, so we could say that it is the memory of Guru Dev,' said Dr Feldman. 'It is the memory that Guru Dev has given us, the memory that Maharishi has given us. The true essence of memory, the true essence of what is there to be remembered—the coexistence of Totality at every point—the memory that Totality has of its infinity of points that make up Totality, and the memory that the point has of infinity. From that essential memory all the other memories come out.'

From there comes the Shruti, and Veda [Total Knowledge], so all the different interactions that bring us the joy of the unfoldment of creation are really the self-referral interactions of the self-sufficient Veda—'and we ride on those to experience our own bliss,' Dr Feldman said.

'We take all the action necessary to bring about the experience of Heaven on Earth to everyone on Earth, to be an elaboration of that fundamental reality of life that Maharishi has brought to the world and has gifted us.'

Maharishi has created so many avenues for us to rejoice in that self-referral reverberation of consciousness and in creating that experience for everybody on earth. It will be our joy to bask naturally in those reverberations, in those programmes that we have in every area.

Dr Feldman then said that as always we are focused on Maharishi's direction, when he says Jyotish Vidya, Jyotish Vidya* is to be preserved in the Towers of Invincibility and to be actualized through the performance of Vedic ceremonies of the Vedic Yagyas of the Pandits of India for every country.

Dr Feldman reported that already in the expansion of this activity there is a computerized system for applying for Yagyas from anywhere in the world. In addition to all the channels that are already available, people will be able to come on the Internet, provide their information, and then be called for a Jyotish consultation and be given the necessary Yagyas.

Having access to the knowledge and performance of the Yagyas, through the fast means of communication today, people will then be able 'to see the Yagyas performed on their own screen for their own purpose as they happen', Dr Feldman said.

'This is such a beautiful connection of the whole world with this deep knowledge of the sequential unfoldment of Natural Law that gives everyone freedom from any negativity that may be there before it arises,' he said. In every area of our activity, every Teacher and practitioner of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation, all the Yogic Flyers, all the Directors of the Global Country of World Peace in every area of society, should realize that 'they have this gift of self-sufficiency from Maharishi because it is so natural.

'It may be missed but it shouldn't be missed by us,' Dr Feldman emphasized. 'We should never undermine our own status and the great role that we very naturally have to play for those around us. We should never forget that we have the most precious gift that could ever be given to any human being, and that in our Being, we can share that. Maharishi has, from the start, said that people didn't start [Transcendental Meditation] because of what was said, but because of what he was.

'Everyone who has been practising and has the gift of the technique and the knowledge that Maharishi has given us, has that ability to radiate simply in their environment what they are, and for all the Teachers, those who will learn Transcendental Meditation this week, next week, next month, next year, and in ten years from now, and in a hundred years from now, they will have the same fresh and new and rich and valid experience as for anyone who has received the knowledge and used it in their own lives.

'Maharishi has given us a lighted candle that can light the world as a whole, and the beauty is that we have the expressions, the beautiful expressions in the language of modern science that Dr Hagelin, the Raja of Invincible America, has been expounding for us and we have all the programmes in the field of knowledge—in the field of health, in the field of agriculture, in the field of architecture, and in all the areas of life drawing from the field of Total Knowledge and becoming fully blossomed and fully self-sufficient, fully achieving the goal.

'It is so impossible to fathom. Maharishi helped us all by saying it's simply unfathomable, except that it leads us eventually to something for which we can only say Jai Guru Dev.'
