The success of Maharishi's Programmes in Japan

Dr Shizuo Suzuki, President of the Peace Government of Japan, reported that Japan is regaining strength in its economy after ten years of recession. People are re-investing in the country, a sign of growing confidence. Also, he said Japan is proud that the Japanese Self-Defence forces which have returned from Iraq after two and a half years, did not kill anyone during their mission, nor were any of their soldiers killed.

Dr Suzuki attributes all this to the growing coherence being generated in the country by small groups of Yogic Flyers. Japan needs 1,130 experts in Yogic Flying, practising together, to maintain invincibility for the nation. 1,130 is the square root of one per cent of the population of Japan.

The square root of one per cent of a population practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying promotes positive trends in the whole society and is the formula for any country to achieve harmony, invinciblity, and a better quality of life for its people. This phenomenon was called by scientists the Maharishi Effect, in honour of Maharishi who first predicted it in the very early days of his worldwide Movement to spiritually regenerate the world (started in Madras, India, 1957).   Already 2,000 experts in Yogic Flying have been trained in Japan, and 1,400 practice Yogic Flying together in small groups at the same time across Japan to increase the power of coherence generated. One large group is in progress of being created now.  

A Peace Palace is being constructed in Hiroshima, and an agricultural project there expects to harvest 10 tons of organic rice. Next year it will be certifiable organic. An Invincibility School and marble Peace Colony are also planned.  

During the summer vacation, the Academy at Nasu will host a World Peace Assembly and coherence-creating course for 120 participants. Thirty people will learn the TM-Sidhi Programme Including Yogic Flying, and a Teacher Training Course for Transcendental Meditation will be conducted.   The focus of all the groups practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme is the experience of their own inner bliss. Invincibilty for Japan is a by-product.
