Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health - Part II - Creating perfect health through Maharishi Health Centres and Colleges

Dr Rainer Picha, Minister of Health for the Global Country of World Peace, explained the role of Maharishi Health Centres in the creation of perfect health and elimination of sickness and suffering from the world in his talk during the continuing grand global celebration of Guru Purnima on 20 July.

Continuing his talk, Dr Picha said, 'What Maharishi has done for health on the level of the entire human race is now reflected in the general trend towards more natural approaches in the field of healthcare throughout the world. Maharishi has transformed the understanding of medicine in such a way that nowadays natural approaches of medicine—from whichever culture or tradition they may be—have become more popular throughout the world, [and] have become recognized again as a valuable heritage of the human race.

'All these wonderful developments [highlighted in Part I of this talk] over the last 50 years in the field of health that Maharishi brought to light, have now been put together in one beautiful building: the Maharishi Health Centre, a storehouse of everything that promotes perfect health, designed and envisioned by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Dr Picha showed a model of the Health Centre, noting that Maharishi had considered every detail that could influence health. For example sunlight pervades the building, and beautiful, therapeutic gardens help restore perfect health. 'These Centres have become a [place] of integrated healthcare for patients who desire the most modern, up-to-date diagnostic procedures combined with the most natural and holistic treatment programmes,' he said.

Treatments will include sound therapy, Maharishi aroma therapy, herbal supplements, spices, pure organic food, Maharishi color and light therapy, and massage and spa treatments. 'Maharishi Health Centres will also display enlightening exhibitions to ensure total knowledge of health,' Dr Picha said.

Along with these Maharishi Health Centres, Maharishi founded the Maharishi College of perfect health to train doctors in the Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health and everything that promotes health from a holistic perspective. In addition, the students will also receive a full medical doctorate degree.

'Maharishi has relieved the world from the times in which innocent medical students have been forced to learn all the approaches that cause hazardous side effects just because there was nothing else available, nothing else to learn for them,' Dr Picha said.

'We are observing a complete and worldwide transformation of healthcare of unbelievable magnitude,' Dr Picha concluded. Maharishi's programmes for health offer the possibility of a perfectly healthy world.
