US: Businesses, American Indian organizations utilize Transcendental Meditation

US businesses, health centres, and American Indian youth development and wellness organizations are enjoying the profound and wide-ranging benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Technique and other programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi—including reduced stress and substance abuse, increased productivity, and improved health.
Corporate development
The Center for Leadership Performance offers programmes for companies, including training courses in the Transcendental Meditation Programme for employees and executives. Through the company's support of these courses, employees gain the personal and professional benefits of the programme, and are also given time to meditate during their work day—while the company as whole benefits as well.
At one prestigious company, a group of 125 people began the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and then another 100 decided to learn—and the programme is still expanding.
A distinguished health centre in the western United States introduced the Transcendental Meditation Programme to executives and employees. The company as a whole has benefited from the reduced stress and enhanced productivity participants have been enjoying as a result of the programme.
American Indian organizations
The David Lynch Foundation has formed partnerships with two of the most respected Native American-run organizations. These organizations provide wellness and youth development programmes for American Indian communities throughout North America. Through these organizations, programmes developed by Maharishi are helping to alleviate severe problems such as substance abuse, diabetes, and teen suicide.
