In business news, reported Dr Varma, the Maharishi Corporate Development Programme is running very successfully. So far 32 courses, which include instruction in Transcendental Meditation, have been completed with 735 participants. The participants are from the highest level of business in India, including chairmen, managing directors, and top-level executives of many successful companies.

This year also marked the second anniversary of the Maha Media monthly social magazine. 'This magazine covers every area of life, giving its readers Total Knowledge in the light of Maharishi's Vedic Science and technology,' Dr Varma said.

The magazine is now distributed in over 200 cities in India and has a readership of over 200,000 people.

The E-Gyan monthly digital newsletter has published over 50 issues and reaches about 300,000 people.

A full-colour book about Yoga Asanas was developed, to be published and made available countrywide, in conjunction with several Yoga Asana camps organized across the country. Over 4,000 people participated in the camps.

Lastly Dr Varma spoke about the newly qualified teachers of Transcendental Meditation. A training course was recently completed with 30 new teachers, and another course with about 60 participants scheduled to begin soon after.

Dr Varma expressed his hope that with these new teachers, even more people will learn Transcendental Meditation throughout the nation.
