Denmark: New Transcendental Meditation teacher expands country's programmes for women
Global Women's Organization for Total Knowledge Translate This Article
4 December 2012
Denmark welcomed home this year another newly trained teacher of Transcendental Meditation, who will help expand self-development programmes for women and girls. Lubica Vesterdal graduated from the Transcendental Meditation teacher training course earlier in the year and on returning to Denmark began teaching in the country.
Women already practising the Transcendental Meditation technique enjoyed a popular one-day course in Copenhagen on the theme of 'Love'.
Participants enjoyed meditating together as well as a knowledge programme of lectures and videos highlighting Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes and technologies of consciousness.
The group represented a wide range of experience with meditation—while one member had just learned Transcendental Meditation a month earlier, another was attending her first course since learning the technique over 40 years ago—but all enjoyed diving deeply into knowledge and experience together.
Many wanted to learn more about programmes for development of consciousness, health, and other areas offered by the Global Women's Organization for Total Knowledge.
A conference call during the day with a director of the organization for Denmark gave an opportunity for discussion and inspired several of the women to take advanced meditation courses.
