A large group of advanced meditators in Latin America will have the capability to create a coherent and peaceful effect in the region, teachers of Transcendental Meditation said recently.
In the next week, a group of 1,000 in one of the capital cities will conclude their training in the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi programme, including Yogic Flying, and begin practising together daily on a permanent basis.
'That will be very good news for the whole continent,' a teacher involved in the project added.
The group's coherence-creating potential is based on the application of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Invincible Defense Technology (IDT): large groups of people regularly practising Yogic Flying and other peace-creating technologies of consciousness, to defuse enmity in a potential adversary; create coherent and harmonious national consciousness; and ensure lasting peace, security, and economic stability at home.
The success of this project promises a 'reservoir' of 1,000 Yogic Flyers together in one group, in one place, at one time. Based on extensive scientific research on IDT, teachers estimate that this large number is enough to create a coherent influence within the country, and spread coherence in neighbouring regions as well.
The project is becoming quite established and has the support of everyone involved, a Transcendental Meditation teacher working with it remarked, adding that the group of 1,000 will be established within the week.
'We feel very happy about this project and we want to give it all the support possible,' he said. 'To create a group of 1,000 Yogic Flyers is very important, but this is also a permanent group . . . so it's unique, and very precious.;
He added, 'It's reliable coherence on a permanent basis,' and will likely be a source of harmony and inspiration for the rest of Latin America and the world.
