On 27 March 2012 In Depth News reported:
Over the years Iranian leaders such as President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad have repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel--raising fears about security and lasting peace for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other world leaders. Nearly 60 are attending the second Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) in Seoul, South Korea, focusing on the threat of global terrorism and how to keep atomic materials safe from rogue terrorists. However, there is new hope, writes Dr David Leffler--if these leaders act quickly now, and implement Invincible Defense Technology (IDT)--a scientifically field-tested brain-based technology to prevent crime, terrorism, and war.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of world peace.
Dr John Hagelin, the most knowledgeable IDT expert, is a renowned Harvard-trained quantum physicist and executive director of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace (GUSP)—founded to avert the growing threat of nuclear proliferation and nuclear war and to promote safe, innovative, scientifically proven technologies for national security and global peace.
In a news conference in Seoul held during this week's Nuclear Security Summit, Dr. Hagelin presented results of many published studies verifying the effectiveness of IDT's brain-based approach, which is based on neutralizing the acute ethnic, political, and religious tensions that fuel violence, terrorism, and social conflict. It has been field tested in the Middle East and throughout the world. ''The consistent result has been dramatic reductions in terrorism, war, and social violence,'' Dr. Hagelin said. ''These findings have been replicated, published in leading academic journals, and endorsed by hundreds of independent scientists and scholars. The efficacy of this approach is beyond question.''
Perhaps due to Ecuador's pioneering precedent, a total of four Latin American countries have established IDT deployments in military and educational settings with the aim of achieving national invincibility. ''Invincible'' means ''incapable of being defeated,'' Dr Leffler points out. Once these Prevention Wings have become fully operational, he says, ''no enemy can be born, because the collective practice of IDT by these groups neutralizes the societal stress that gives rise to conflict.''
''Israel has a well-deserved worldwide reputation as a leader in military innovation, since its narrow and vulnerable territory demands a unique approach to defense,'' Dr Leffler writes. ''. . . . Israel would be even better served by implementation of the ultimate unified field–based technology—an approach that operates on a much more powerful level than even the dangerous but now obsolete nuclear defense technology that Iran is alleged to be developing.''
