On 20 February, the Global Country of World Peace celebrated the quality of infinite silence, the source of all intelligence, creativity, and dynamism in the universe, in the Vedic festival of Mahashivaratri.
'Each day of the year has a special character, a special quality of the intelligence of nature,' explained Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace. 'Celebrating that quality on its special day is an open door to great benefit for the individual and society.'
'This is the day of the celebration of pure consciousness itself, of the unbounded ocean of consciousness, which is the field of infinite silence,' Dr Morris said. 'Today is that day when that is most accessible to bestow spiritual and material progress on the individual and on the whole human family.'
The way in which this is done, he explained, is 'through the great skill of the Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits who, from their establishment in Para, the transcendental field of consciousness, project to the world just those sounds that awaken this reality in world consciousness.'
During the celebration, a large group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Global Capital of Raam Raj at the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India performed special Vedic recitations for this occasion, joined by another group of Pandits in MERU, Holland.
Following the Pandits' performance, a video was played of brief remarks by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on this day in 2007:
'Having done today fortunately the great [recitations] of the year, we have to continue establishing the capitals of Raam Raj throughout the world. It's a delightful duty,' Maharishi said, 'that as soon as possible we have capitals of Raam Raj in every country.'
Raam Raj is the term Maharishi used to describe the effect of establishing administration through total natural law through his programmes, promoting a beautiful, ideal quality of life in society, free from problems and suffering.
After Maharishi's remarks, Dr Morris introduced Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, honoured by Maharishi as first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace.
Dr Morris explained that Maharaja, inspired by Maharishi, has found that the quality of infinite silence is in the brain, 'not of one person, but of every single person ever born into the world—that total reality is there in the structure and function of the human brain'.
What we see in Maharaja's discovery, Dr Morris said, is that the reality of today's celebration is the reality of every human physiology born in this world—'meaning that every human being ever born in this world has the cosmic potentiality to live on the level of the supreme silence and peace and unity . . . . To live in higher states of consciousness, to live in unity consciousness (the highest state of human development), this is the designed capability of every human physiology.'
Maharaja discovered this under Maharishi's guidance, Dr Morris explained, and has displayed it to the world in his first book, Human Physiology: Expression of Veda and Vedic Literature, further elaborating in his new book, Ramayan in Human Physiology.
Global Good News will feature the remarks of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam tomorrow.
