The past year has seen advancements in media and communications for organizations teaching Transcendental Meditation in Japan.
A new website for the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Japan was created in 2011. It is modeled after the very professionally designed and user-friendly United States website, with all the content in Japanese. Visitors describe the site as sophisticated, and it has already been very effective in providing information and knowledge to the public about Transcendental Meditation and related programmes.
In addition to the new website, two magazines about the range of Maharishi's programmes and technologies of consciousness are published each month. Maharishi Vedic Life magazine is produced by 'highly skilled graphic artists who do beautiful work and present all the latest news', said a Transcendental Meditation teacher.
Utopia magazine is a 40-page publication which is also beautifully illustrated and goes out to over 4,000 people each month.
These magazines are a valuable tool to help people who practise Transcendental Meditation stay abreast of new developments, while also providing a sense of community.
