12 January 2012
On 12 January 2012, the Global Country of World Peace inaugurated the new year—celebrating the rising success of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes around the world, with resolutions for fully realizing Maharishi's goals of perfect health, happiness, prosperity, and invincible permanent peace for the people of every nation.
The day's programme also honoured Maharishi's celebration on 12 January 1994 of the discovery of Veda, the structuring dynamics of total Natural Law, in human physiology, which he said is 'a wide open gate of perfection, perfection for life on earth.'
This discovery was made under Maharishi's guidance by Professor Tony Nader, MD, PhD. In 1994 Dr Nader published his first book, Human Physiology, Expression of Veda and Vedic Literature. In the year 2000, on the basis of this historic discovery Dr Nader was honoured by Maharishi as Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace.
On 12 January this year, Maharaja presented his new book, Ramayan in Human Physiology, a further elaboration of the knowledge brought out in his first book, in context of the Ramayan, one of the great epics of the Vedic Literature.
This year's 12 January celebrations were held in MERU, Holland and in the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India; and also in Centres teaching Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme around the world.
A beautiful highlight, after traditional Vedic recitations by Maharishi Vedic Pandits in India and Holland, was the video of Maharishi's address from 12 January 1994, in which he expressed his great joy and fulfilment in the discovery of Veda in human physiology.
In 1994 Maharishi was celebrating the twentieth year of the Age of Enlightenment, which he had inaugurated in 1975 on the basis of the scientific discovery of the Maharishi Effect—reduced crime and social violence, and rising coherence and positivity in society resulting from group practice of Transcendental Meditation and its advanced techniques, including Yogic Flying. Maharishi saw in this the dawn of a new era of peace and harmony that would come to full blossoming through widespread use of his technologies of consciousness.
Maharishi began his 12 January 1994 address by saying:
'Once again it's a very great joy for me to offer to the world a gift, a gift of knowledge—the gift of eternal knowledge that will always stay with mankind for all future, and bestow perfection to all life with the infinite organizing power of pure knowledge, the Veda. Today, with the blessings of all the Vedas, Vedic Literature, with great Pandits, traditional Pandits, who have been preserving the eternal wisdom of creation and evolution.
'From times immemorial, ever since creation began . . . and creation is a constant phenomenon all the time, through eternity. But when we talk of creation we can think of intelligence manifesting itself, and continuing to evolve, evolve, and present the ever-expanding universe.
'So this theme of evolution, this orderly system of evolution of life, from unmanifest to all the levels of manifestation, until the whole universe continues to manifest, ever-expanding universe—this whole theme of universe is orderly. And the custodians of the system of order, the custodians of the Constitution of Natural Law, these Vedic Pandits, they have been having in their memory all the time in the infinity of time, since times immemorial, they have been reciting what we know to be Veda and Vedic Literature.
'What is special about it now is, which we are celebrating today, the discovery of the Veda and Vedic Literature in human physiology. It's just a discovery. The thing has always been there, and it'll always be there—the essential Natural Law that is the inner intelligence of everyone, the intelligence of the body itself—it is in perfect systematic order of evolution. It is this intelligence which has been found in a very orderly structure, and that orderly structure has been located in the 27 areas* of the Vedic Literature, which have been lying intact, but scattered, unrelated, unconnected with each other . . . .
'So this scattered Vedic Literature has been found to be the impulses of intelligence, the impulses of consciousness which together, all the 27 areas together become the structuring dynamics of Veda. All the . . . values of Vedic Literature are the mechanics of the qualities of consciousness, qualities of intelligence, which together create the structure of Veda from the unstructured, unmanifest pure intelligence.
'The structure is called Rk Veda. So the structure of Rk Veda—how it is structured from the unstructured generality of pure intelligence, self-referral unified state of intelligence; how it functions from within itself; and how these [27] qualities of intelligence become the [27] areas of creative intelligence of consciousness; and how in a systematic way, the most orderly way, and eternally maintained order, how it comes about to be a structured quantity of consciousness, the Vedic structure—this has been discovered in human physiology.
'It's a very great discovery. And how has it come about? I would like to reflect upon it, how it has come about, after Dr Nader has explained how the parallels have been found between the structure of Veda and Vedic Literature, and the structure of human physiology.
'Applications of this discovery are so enormous, that today while celebrating the twentieth year of the Age of Enlightenment, what I'm doing is opening a wide gate of perfection for life on earth. This discovery of Veda in human physiology is a wide open gate of perfection, perfection for life on earth. It's a big shift from suffering to bliss. We have been talking of bubbling bliss through Yogic Flying—it's a great experience, for so many years we have been raising the voice of Yogic Flying, and every father and mother would always want his children to be in bubbling bliss.
'The last year, we have been talking of bubbling bliss through Yogic Flying. So many hundreds of thousands of people are experiencing bubbling flying, and now the age-old cherished wish of every mother and father, that his sons and daughters, they should never suffer, and if possible they should have their days in the waves of bliss—this wish of everyone is going to be an automatic feature from now on, with this discovery of the Veda in human physiology.
'That's why we say, we are celebrating today the opening of a wide gate of perfection for all life on earth for all the time. This is my joy this year, when I am celebrating the twentieth year of the Age of Enlightenment.
'When I'm saying twentieth year of the Age of Enlightenment, I remember when I inaugurated the Dawn of the Age of Enlightenment, twenty years ago. What I said was, ''Through the window of science I see the Dawn of the Age of Enlightenment.'' I used the word there, ''a window of science'', and today I find myself in the garden of science, in the wide universal field of science.
'And this science, very perfect science—science from the physical level, physical sciences, all modern sciences, physics, chemistry . . . and also, the science which was not known—not a physical science, but the science of consciousness. Today I am celebrating the twentieth year of the Age of Enlightenment, on the ground of science, where science is complete.'
Global Good News will continue to feature Maharishi's address from 12 January 1994; and will also report on the address given by Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam and presentation of his new book, Ramayan in Human Physiology, during the celebration on 12 January 2012.
* In his continuing unfoldment of the complete Vedic wisdom throughout his 50 years of teaching in the world, Maharishi eventually brought to light a total of 40 aspects of the Vedic Literature.
