Holland: Expansion of programmes in education, health

Hundreds of people are learning the Transcendental Meditation Programme every year in Holland, and education and health programmes are expanding.

About 250 people are learning the Transcendental Meditation Programme each year, and about 80 more are taking advantage of the opportunity to learn its advanced techniques. Many others are joining in-residence courses and coherence-creating World Peace Assemblies of Yogic Flyers.

A school offering Consciousness-Based Education, located in a community of people who practise Transcendental Meditation, is attracting more and more students from outside the community. Among many successes, students at the school recently won first place for an architectural design in a nation-wide competition.

Treatments at a Maharishi Ayur-Veda health centre are increasing 15 per cent each year, necessitating expansion of the facility.
