Since 2009 the number of people learning the Transcendental Meditation Programme in France has doubled, and regional assemblies of advanced meditators are creating coherence for the nation.
In the last year, 125 people learned Transcendental Meditation. Nearly 40 people also took advantage of courses to learn advanced programmes, which are offered twice a year.
In addition, there are now more teachers of Transcendental Meditation in France. In 2010 and 2011 the number of teachers rose to well over 70.
Coherence-creating assemblies of meditators and those practising the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, are held regularly in France, including one very large assembly held annually. At the most recent large assembly, about 20 per cent of attendees were new practitioners of Transcendental Meditation interested in learning Yogic Flying and enjoying more programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, a local Transcendental Meditation teacher said.
National Yagyas* are also creating an influence of coherence, peace, and harmony in the nation. Fourteen Yagyas have been organized since 2009 by well-wishers of an ideal quality of life in France.
*Yagyas are ancient precise performances by specially trained Maharishi Vedic Pandits of India, which create specific life-supporting influences from the field of pure consciousness>, the field of total Natural Law.
