In the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, individuals and institutions are finding solutions to decades-old problems.
In the United States, for example, in addition to the 7,000 individuals who learned the Transcendental Meditation Programme last year, institutions have also been seeking out the programme and finding that it holds solutions they have been seeking to longstanding problems in education, business, rehabilitation, and other areas of society.
'They have intractable problems that they can't solve . . . . They have been looking for so many decades and haven't found solutions,' commented an American teacher of the technique recently.
When institutions implement the Transcendental Meditation Programme, they often conduct research to document the effects. Increasingly, scientific verification of positive outcomes has shown leaders of these organizations 'that they finally have found the solutions,' the teacher said.
With this rising interest, and with coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers such as the Invincible America Assembly in Fairfield, Iowa supporting rising harmony and progress in the nation, teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in the US feel very fortunate, the teacher noted.
'They love their job,' he said, because they have the opportunity to offer the benefits of Transcendental Meditation and related programmes to benefit every area of society. 'It's an extraordinary time to be teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme.'
