In the last year there have been several initiatives to support peace and harmony in Israel. Hundreds of people learned the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and hundreds more attended peace-creating assemblies.
The number of people who learned the Transcendental Meditation Programme—over 300—was triple the number from the previous year. In addition, more than 60 people learned advanced techniques of Transcendental Meditation.
Nearly 150 participants attended seven residence courses and World Peace Assemblies, creating an influence of peace, harmony, and progress through their group practice of Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
A residence course for women was also held, and other programmes for women who practise Transcendental Meditation are being developed.
Israel has a beautiful new Maharishi Invincibility Centre,* making the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi easily available to the population.
Eight national Yagyas also helped support peace and harmony this past year. Yagyas are ancient precise performances by specially trained Maharishi Vedic Pandits of India, which create specific life-supporting influences from the field of pure consciousness, the field of total Natural Law.
* Maharishi Invincibility Centres in major cities around the world offer the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to promote enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every nation through development of full potential in every area of life.
