Construction of Germany's first Maharishi Vastu Peace Palace to start in July

Construction is planned to begin in July on the first Maharishi Peace Palace to be built in Germany. The administrators and architects who are responsible for the project recently outlined steps of progress that have been achieved in land acquisition, planning, and approval, soon to culminate in the start of construction on the site in Erfurt, Germany.

The Maharishi Peace Palace, which will be the centre for teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme in the area, has been designed according to Maharishi Vastu architecture. The team of Vastu architects described various aspects in developing the design and construction plans, including energy efficiency.

Christian Schweizer, an architect who has been specializing in Maharishi Vastu architecture for 10 years, presented a model of the planned Maharishi Peace Palace, and some of its Vastu features including the MERU Master Builder System, an efficient, cost-effective system of prefabricated wall elements with rich Vedic ornamentation that has been developed for Vastu buildings.

A group of people in Erfurt had been renting facilities for group practice of Transcendental Meditation and its advanced programmes, including Yogic Flying, to create an influence of coherence and harmony in the nation, explained Mr Schweizer, who is also Deputy Minister of Architecture for the Global Country of World Peace.

The group resolved to build a perfect Vastu Peace Palace as a home for all the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the area, and to amplify the coherence-creating effect of their group meditations. The same process can be replicated in every city in the world for groups to build and meditate in perfect Vastu, Mr Schweizer said.
