Interest in Transcendental Meditation and other programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is growing in the Caribbean, especially their applications in education, health, and agriculture.

An education leader who is supportive of potential Quiet Time programmes learned Transcendental Meditation this month.

Two professors at a medical university have also decided to learn the technique, bringing the number of people practising Transcendental Meditation at their school to four.

Certificate programmes to support unemployed young people and adults are planned to begin this fall.

Presentations about the Transcendental Meditation Programme to service-oriented clubs have been warmly received.

A leader in the field of agriculture is actively supporting potential agricultural initiatives.
