Practitioners and teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme celebrated the 50th anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's first visit to France during a recent six-city tour.
During the tour, Dr Michael Dillbeck, editor of the new publication, Scientific Research on Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme: Collected Papers, Volume 6, discussed scientific research on the technique and an advanced practice, the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
Extensive research has shown profound and wide-ranging benefits for mind, body, behaviour, and environment.
In each city, attendees appreciated Dr Dillbeck's in-depth explanation of the research studies—which reflected their own experience with these programmes.
Transcendental Meditation teachers took the opportunity to plan together how best to offer the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in their local areas—offering better health, more happiness, more success, and a better, more harmonious quality of life to the people of their cities.
