The Album features the great historical significance of Switzerland in the development of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's worldwide organizations offering the Transcendental Meditation Programme and many other programmes Maharishi brought to light from the ancient Vedic wisdom.
Maharishi first visited Switzerland in 1960, and in 1973 took up residence in the stately buildings of Seelisberg, where the breathtaking alpine setting overlooking Lake Lucerne became the global headquarters for his organizations for over ten years.
Many historic achievements took place in Seelisberg, and many of the programmes and initiatives that were inaugurated there—to name just a few, the Dawn of the Age of Enlightenment; the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying; and Maharishi European Research University—are continuing to blossom and transform the nature of life everywhere through the Global Country of World Peace, bringing enlightenment to individuals and invincibility to nations throughout the world.
The Album also describes a variety of courses currently being offered in Maharishi's programmes at the Capital of the Age of Enlightenment in Seelisberg, including special courses for women, as well as Maharishi Ayur-Veda natural health care and Gandharva Veda (Vedic music) concerts and courses.
