The recent visit to Bulgaria of Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, stirred a new level of interest and enthusiasm for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes among news media, educational leaders, the general public, and participants in the Transcendental Meditation Programme throughout the nation.
During his three and a half days in the country, the Prime Minister toured facilities in the centre of the nation which for several years have hosted courses to train Teachers of Transcendental Meditation; and land in the beautiful Valley of the Roses where an organic agricultural project is under development.
Dr Morris is also President of Maharishi University of Management in the USA; his visit included meetings with leaders of an educational institution who were inspired to learn more about the scientifically verified benefits of Transcendental Meditation, both for themselves personally and for promoting educational excellence through Consciousness-Based Education.
Just before the Prime Minister left Bulgaria, a journalist from one of the most popular daily newspapers in the country conducted an in-depth interview with him, and soon after published a comprehensive, full-page article about the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
Global Good News will feature more about the Prime Minister's visit to Bulgaria, including the article on Transcendental Meditation, in the coming days.
