The Global Country of World Peace of Northern Ireland is delighted to announce the Belfast Peace Line Project. The project aims to help create permanent peace by unifying the people of Belfast in health, happiness, and prosperity, while supporting, respecting, and celebrating the rich diversity of individual culture and tradition.

This community project involves construction of two beautiful buildings that will include offices, shops and residential accommodation along with studio space, a Cafe/Visitor Centre, and the David Lynch Community College for Performing Arts, where the students will practise Transcendental Meditation together twice a day, creating coherence and harmony for the whole community.

With help from the David Lynch Foundation, Transcendental Meditation has already been successfully introduced into nearby schools on both sides of the Peace Line. Teachers report that since starting the programme the students are experiencing calmer, clearer minds, more happiness, self worth, and unfoldment of creativity, leading to new inspiration, aspiration, and hope for the future.

Construction will take place on land owned by the Global Country exactly on the Peace Line, which was the focal point of the 'troubles' for decades. Full planning permission is in place for an exciting community project. Following two years of meetings with local community leaders on both sides of the Peace Line, these plans have the support of the local people, and also the government, provided certain criteria are met.

The first two criteria have already been fulfilled:
1. Full planning permission has been granted for the completed design;
2. Signed letters of support have been received from the leaders of both sides of the local community. Children in Catholic and Protestant schools on both sides of the Peace Line have learned Transcendental Meditation.

The third criterion is proof that support is available for 60% of the construction costs. Dr Andrea and Dr Gerry Gribben, National Directors of the Global Country of World Peace for Northern Ireland, have received enthusiastic responses wherever they have presented the project. They point out that it not only promises lasting peace for one of the most intractable trouble spots of the world, but also provides an excellent investment opportunity.

The Belfast Peace Line Project incorporates many of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes for peace under one roof: Consciousness-Based Education, perfect Vastu, and group practice of Yogic Flying—the core approach for creating more coherent collective consciousness, the basis of peace and invincibility for the nation.
