The first National Yagya for the well-being and progress of the United Arab Emirates was recently performed by Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthan (auspicious central point) of India. Since this special peace-creating technology was performed, a new wave of interest has arisen in programmes for the development of consciousness and well-being of the people.
Six introductory lectures on Transcendental Meditation have been held at different locations, including the local Maharishi Invincibility Centre.* Individuals now learning the technique include leaders in the Dubai community, who are keen to help bring Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes to their country. A presentation on Consciousness-Based Education was also made to a leading educator.
Dr and Mrs Sinha, Vedic experts from India, recently arrived in the United Arab Emirates and have taught Advanced Techniques of Transcendental Meditation to 17 people. They have also given many Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology treatments. Participants have reported very satisfying experiences with these programmes. One family of eight came all the way from Iran to learn Advanced Techniques. This is the third time Teachers of the programme have visited Dubai in the past year.
* Maharishi Invincibility Centres in major cities around the world offer the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to promote enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every nation through full development of consciousness.
