17 October 2010
On 17 October 2010, throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, practitioners and teachers of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes raised the flag of the Global Country of World Peace in celebration of Victory Day.
Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on 19 October that flags were raised in the newly independent nation of Curacao, where Maharishi University of Latin America and the Caribbean was inaugurated on the same day.
In Mexico, leaders at Consciousness-Based Education institutions raised the Global Country of World Peace flag on Victory Day. 'In Mexico and other nations, Victory Day was a celebration of invincibility, which has been achieved largely through groups of student Yogic Flyers at these schools,' explained Raja Luis. This invincibility is the gift of Maharishi for every nation, Raja Luis said.
