The vision of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, which was set in motion many years ago, for Maharishi Vedic City and Fairfield, Iowa, USA to be centres of peace, harmony, and ideal administration is coming to fruition.
On Victory Day in October of 1991, groundbreaking took place for the Maharishi Centre for Perfect Health and World Peace, said Raja Robert Wynne, Raja of Invincible New Zealand for the Global Country of World Peace and Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA.
This initiative later evolved into Maharishi Vedic City, said Raja Wynne, speaking at the grand tenth anniversary celebration of the founding of the Global Country of World Peace, on 12 October 2010.
Dr Maureen Wynne read a quote from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's address to the groundbreaking ceremony on that historic day 19 years ago, in which Maharishi indicated that Maharishi Vedic City would one day be the seat of ideal administration of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace.
Maharishi said that they were celebrating on Victory Day the establishment of the Capital of Heaven on Earth, the Capital of Ayodhya, and the return of the reign of Raam.*
'It's a very beautiful time in the evolution of the history of man, also in the evolution of the history of scientific pursuit, celebrating the return of Raam in the capital of Ayodhya,' Maharishi said.
Eleven years later, in 2002, plans were made to welcome Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam to the United States, Raja Wynne continued.
On Victory Day 2002, the Global Country was founded in the US, a capital was established for Maharaja's residence, and initial plans for Maharishi Vedic Pandits to come and create invincibility for the US began to unfold.
Addressing Maharaja at the celebration on 12 October 2010, Raja Wynne concluded by expressing on behalf of the whole community warmest gratitude to Maharaja, and 'welcome back to your capital in Maharishi Vedic City'.
* Maharishi explains that in the Vedic Literature, Raam is Brahm, Totality, total Natural Law. The ancient city of Ayodhya in India is significant in the Vedic Literature as the seat of the 'reign of Raam', in which suffering belonged to no one.
