A Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course has just been completed in MERU, Holland. The course, in progress since June, was the first TTC to be held in MERU, the residence of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for many years.
At the concluding ceremonies, Raja Kingsley Brooks, Raja of Invincible Nepal for the Global Country of World Peace, along with Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of Invincible India, warmly congratulated the ten new Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme for their achievement. Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country, also expressed his appreciation for the ten men graduates, 'who will be bringing Maharishi's knowledge to so many nations in the world'.
Invited by Dr Dominique Lemoine, National Director of France for the Global Country, who administered the final phase of the Teacher Training Course, the new Teachers gave their plans and intentions for when they return to their countries.
A graduate from Great Britain said it had been a great privilege to attend this four-month course, with 'waves of pure knowledge' every day. 'We all have great work to do,' he said, '. . . . now it's our joy to relieve the suffering of the people in our home towns and cities.'
This graduate will also be attending the Phase II Vastu Coordinators Course to be held in MERU. 'With the knowledge of Vastu (Vedic architecture) and the knowledge of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique,' he said, 'it is my joy to spread light and joy to all the people of Great Britain and particularly to the 10 million people of London.'
* Vastu coordinators course Phase II: Professionals in construction and architecture learn principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda including the importance of precision of measurement and proportion in construction; the role of beauty in Vastu architecture; the selection of proper land for a project; and methods of assuring precision of Vedic measurements during construction.
Global Good News will feature a further article about other Teacher Training graduates' intentions for teaching in their own countries.
