Leaders of the Global Country of World Peace in India are establishing large groups of Vedic Pandits at the Brahmasthan [auspicious central point] and many other locations around the country, for the good fortune and invincibility of India and of the whole world. A group of 1,000 Vedic Pandits has also been established in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, in the United States.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi envisioned a Vedic civilization in India to completely enliven the tradition of the Vedic families and Vedic Pandits of India. For thousands of years, Vedic Pandits have been upholding the pure knowledge and organizing power of Natural Law for the good fortune of the whole world, through their daily recitation of the Veda and Vedic Literature and their performance of Yagya.*

Maharishi's grand plan is being realized through the leadership of Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja (Administrator) of India for the Global Country; Dr Girish Chandra Varma, Director-General of the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahmasthan of the country; and other leaders. Facilities for 8,000 Vedic Pandits are currently under construction at the Brahmasthan.

Brief addresses by Maharishi explaining the role and activity of the Vedic Pandits are available online at the web page 'Training Vedic Pandits to create harmony in society'.

Raja Harris was honoured for his achievements on the 13 September Maharishi Global Family Chat, which is broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.

* Maharishi Yagyas are precise Vedic performances by Maharishi Vedic Pandits that create specific life-supporting influences from the field of pure consciousness, the field of total Natural Law.
