Addressing the Global Guru Purnima Assembly in MERU, Holland on 27 July, Raja Michael Dillbeck summarized initiatives for establishment of coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers within Fiji, Latvia, and Algeria—countries of his domain.*

During the past year, 350 students at a school in Fiji have learnt the Transcendental Meditation Programme, which they have been practising twice daily in groups. Just recently, permission has been granted for implementing the programme within 10 additional schools within the nation.

Raja Michael reported that Transcendental Meditation Teachers and National Directors for the Global Country of World Peace are now in the process of identifying the best locations. 'We want to select schools where we can ensure that students will be practising TM twice daily in groups, and most importantly, schools where there is the best chance of proceeding to groups of Yogic Flying students,' explained Raja Michael. He added that, as a small nation, Fiji only requires a group of 100 Yogic Flyers to establish national invincibility. 'It is likely that a single school will allow this goal to be achieved.'

In Latvia, 20 hectares of land have been located in the city of Riga, near the country's Brahmasthan (geographical centre), for the building of a large Vastu school or university campus, built according to principles of Vedic architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda. This will consist of Yogic Flying halls, dormitories, academic and administrative buildings, homes, athletic fields, and agricultural fields. Initial plans have been put together, and now details are being worked out for the project. 'This campus will present the best possibility for establishing national invincibility through a Yogic Flying group,' Raja Michael said.

The best possibility for a Yogic Flying group in Algeria, he continued, is to incorporate practice of the technique at a new agricultural operation, to be established in the northern part of the country. 'This land near the Mediterranean will be very fertile, and the market for organic products is already thriving in Algeria,' he said. Dr Atmane Kouider, National Director of Algeria for the Global Country of World Peace, will lend great expertise to this project, with his background in leading the production, marketing, and distribution of Maharishi VedAroma oils.
