Latin America: Global Country of World Peace leaders mark Invincibility Day, 2 July

The Day of Invincibility for Latin America, 2 July, was marked this year by announcements of many countries approaching national invincibility through achieving the required number of Yogic Flyers practising the technique in groups.

This date was established in 2007 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.

The National Director of Maharishi's programmes in Ecuador, who is also an Administrator of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, reported about the latest group of 216 participants who began Yogic Flying on 2 July.

He explained that in two months, 700 more will become Yogic Flyers, establishing a good level of invincibility for Ecuador, and expressed the wish that this level of invincibility will soon be established in every country of Latin America.

The National Director of Paraguay attributed progress in many areas of individual and national life in Latin America to Maharishi's having established the programme of Rajas (Administrators) of the Global Country of World Peace for every country in the world.

Many countries now have Yogic Flyers, the National Director said, and countries have reached the required number for their national invincibility.

He reported on many projects underway in the areas of construction, agriculture, and health. Also, each week there are conferences during which Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, gives further knowledge to practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme.

Latin America is becoming the lighthouse of knowledge that Maharishi envisioned, the National Director said.

The Day of Invincibility for Latin America was originally established in honour of the achievements of Raja Luis in promoting invincibility throughout the continent.
