'Maharishi Vedic City is an extreme town'

Maharishi Vedic City has been highlighted as one of six of the most unique small towns in America on the Travel Channel's 'Extreme Towns: Great American Vacations' show.

The program explained how all of the buildings in Vedic City are built according to Maharishi Vedic architecture, one of the many reasons why this town is unique.

'Think small towns are all the same? Think again. Explore some of the world's most unique towns where the residents' zeal makes up for what they lack in number,' the Travel Channel recommends.

Maharishi Vedic City is an entire town designed to make life stress free. Since its founding in 2001, the population has grown 10 times; 1,200 residents now call it home.
