The Latin American nations of Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, and Mexico are enjoying expansion of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes. One of the most significant areas of expansion has been the establishment of groups of Yogic Flyers, creating coherence and invincibility for each country.
In Colombia, a group of 200 Yogic Flyers has been established, reported Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, speaking on Maharishi Global Family Chat.*
Raja Luis also reported that in Mexico, 500 people have begun practising Yogic Flying together in a school. Participants have noticed that the larger the group, the deeper their individual experiences during the practice, and also that there are great benefits in the immediate environment. For example, there has recently been more cooperation amongst the school authorities. Raja Luis commented that it could be the role of schools in society to remove tensions very quietly and easily.
In addition, many new channels for national invincibility have been established in Guyana and Suriname, including presentations and lectures on the benefits of Maharishi's programmes in all areas of society, and many people have been inspired to participate and gain these benefits in their own lives.
* Raja Luis's report was featured on the 11 May 2010 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
