The Album features recent developments in Pakistan, where hundreds of people are attending introductory talks on the Transcendental Meditation Programme; a community of Yogic Flyers is creating an influence of coherence and harmony; and initial plans are under way to offer Consciousness-Based Education.
One photo shows a region outside the capital city of Karachi, where 225 people practise Transcendental Meditation, and 25 are Yogic Flyers. At least 50 meditate together daily, and through the focus and inspiration of Dr Ashok Kumar, a new Teacher of Transcendental Meditation, interest is growing to establish Invincibility assemblies* and more Ideal Villages to create coherence in national consciousness.
'I feel that the future of my country is really very bright,' Dr Kumar said. 'I want to dedicate my whole life to teaching Transcendental Meditation and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's supreme knowledge to bring peace and harmony to all the people of Pakistan.'
* Invincibility assembly: A large group of Yogic Flyers practising the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme together for extended periods twice daily, to create invincibility for the nation through the Maharishi Effect.
