On 30 April the whole nation of Invincible Holland celebrated Queen's Day, the celebration of the birthday of the Queen of Holland. Queen Beatrix, the present monarch, chose to maintain the celebration on the birthday of her mother, Queen Juliana.
Every year Queen Beatrix visits a few Dutch towns to greet her people, and they celebrate very happily in the beautiful spring weather and atmosphere. 'It's a very creative and carefree springtime celebration in all of Holland,' said Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication of the Global Country of World Peace, speaking from MERU, Holland.*
Together with Raja Willem Meijles, Raja of Invincible Holland for the Global Country of World Peace and the National Director of Holland, Dr Paul Gelderloos; and on behalf of all those practising the Transcendental Meditation Programme, Dr Swan wished Queen Beatrix a very happy birthday, and greater and greater success every year in her invincible country, the first in the world to become invincible.**
Global Good News will feature a second article about this celebration in the coming days.
* Dr Swan was speaking on the 30 April Maharishi Global Family Chat—of which he is host—broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
** One of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes for creating world peace is to establish large, permanent Invincibility groups of Yogic Flyers in every nation, creating coherence in national and world consciousness. Such groups have been creating invincibility in the United States, Holland, and other countries for the last several years.
