On 16 May, the Day of Lasting Achievements, known as Akshaya Tritiya in the Vedic Calendar—a most auspicious day for beginning new projects and activities—a presentation on the proposed development of a Maharishi Peace Colony* will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland. That day is also a National Coherence Day for the United Kingdom.
The day will begin and conclude with group practice of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, as part of the National Coherence Day programme in many locations around the UK.
The event will take place from 11:45 am to 4:00 pm in a special marquee in the Walled Garden site proposed for the development. There will be a picnic and special celebration for the Peace Colony. The presentation includes a tour of the site, as well as slides and plans for the proposed development.
Everyone is invited to come and 'directly experience the beautiful and unique qualities of Scotland's first proposed Vastu development location', organizers said.
