Republic of Ireland: Success of Maharishi's programmes in 2009
by Global Good News staff writer

5 January 2010
2009 brought important developments in the Republic of Ireland for programmes of the Global Country of World Peace—including expansion of Maharishi Ayur-Veda natural health care, construction of a facility on Maharishi Island of World Peace, and courses and conferences about the knowledge of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's.
Raja Tom Stanley, Raja of Invincible Ireland for the Global Country of World Peace, reflected on major achievements in his domain in 2009.*
During the past year, three new Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme graduated from their training course, and 12 people in Ireland completed the recently held global online Vastu Coordinator Training Course.** Also, a Residence Course for people practising Transcendental Meditation was held in the south of Ireland.
Ireland now has three Maharishi Ayur-Veda clinics—two in Dublin and one in Galway. These programmes in the world's oldest, most complete natural system of health care have been receiving much public attention through positive news articles coming out weekly.
Construction is halfway done for a residential facility on Maharishi Island of World Peace, off the west coast of Ireland. Buildings for the site have been redesigned and upgraded, and Raja Stanley expects the project to be completed by late spring this year. The facility will have capacity for 40 people, and ideally in the future will be used as housing for a group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits, creating peace and coherence for all of Ireland through special Vedic performances.
Dr John Fagan, an expert on GMOs (genetically modified organisms), who is Raja of the Global Country of World Peace with Global Responsibility for Food Purity and Safety, and Healthy Invincibility, recently met with government and trade leaders in Ireland, as well as Transcendental Meditation Teachers. The purpose of these meetings was to present the possibilities for Ireland—which recently banned the growing of GMOs within the country—in terms of establishing sustainable agriculture policies. He spoke of the importance of incorporating principles of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture.
Raja Stanley concluded his presentation by presenting goals for Ireland for 2010. These include establishing coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers, including within schools and businesses; constructing a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility; and establishing a Vastu facility for Global Country of World Peace programmes in Dublin.
* Raja Stanley's report was featured on the 26 December 2009 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
** Vastu refers to Vastu vidya, Vedic Architecture—the knowledge of designing and constructing fortune-creating buildings in accord with Natural Law—brought to light from the Vedic Literature by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi as Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
