Vastu (Vedic Architecture) housing is now in place for 1,250 Vedic Pandits to live in Maharishi Vedic City, as part of the Invincible America Assembly, which has been continually in progress since 2006 in Maharishi Vedic City and Fairfield, Iowa, USA. In addition, eight new Maharishi Sthapatya Veda townhouses in the centre of the city have just been sold.

There are currently 1,050 Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits living in Maharishi Vedic City, contributing to the coherence and invincibility of the United States, which is being created by the large group of 2,000 Yogic Flyers in Maharishi Vedic City and Fairfield. Four hundred of these Yogic Flyers have been participating in extended practice of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme for the past three years. The Assembly is very generously funded by the Howard and Alice Settle Foundation for Invincible America.

Raja Robert Wynne, Raja of New Zealand for the Global Country of World Peace and Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, reported recently* that construction is continuing in Maharishi Vedic City. Their goal is to enable the maximum number of people to benefit from living in Maharishi Sthapatya Veda homes, in the first city in the world where Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes have been introduced in all areas of the city life.

'The proof of the pudding is in the eating,' Raja Wynne commented. 'Those who have moved into the new townhouses are very much enjoying the deep silence of living in a Maharishi Sthapatya home.'

Raja Wynne expressed the intention to keep the number of Yogic Flyers on the Invincibility America Assembly well above 2,000 each day, so that America maintains its invincibility. 'One candle will light a room, but many, many lights will make sure there is no shadow,' he said.

He added that Maharishi Vedic City has the largest winter community-supported agriculture programme—the first ever for the winter in Iowa. There has been a great demand for the Maharishi Vedic Organic produce, which is completely fresh, picked the day it is sold.

* Raja Wynne spoke on the 9 December Maharishi Global Family Chat, which is broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
