Leaders of the Global Country of World Peace in Lebanon have set in motion a timely initiative to create invincibility on a national scale.
Raja Lucien Mansour, Raja of Invincible Lebanon, and Dr Omar Hamza, National Director of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, are joined in this endeavour by the national committee and all the Transcendental Meditation Teachers and Centre Chairpersons of Lebanon.
Together, they have been inspiring members of the Global Country of World Peace throughout the country to attend twice-daily group practice of Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, at the Maharishi Invincibility Centre* nearest to their homes.
Extensive scientific research has shown that group practice of Maharishi's Technologies of Consciousness creates the Maharishi Effect of coherence and harmony in the collective consciousness of the nation.
Establishing large Invincibility Groups in the general population, schools, businesses, as well as in the military is the core of the Invincible Defence Technology offered by the Global Country of World Peace to every nation—to protect the country from any internal or external negative influence.
'Avert the danger that has not yet come' is the well-known expression from the Vedic Literature often quoted by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, to describe this approach.
To create the maximum effect for the nation, organizers are also encouraging everyone to attend Transcendental Meditation residence courses and World Peace Assemblies.**
Participants derive great benefit from attending group programme on two levels, commented the leaders: - on the individual level, deepening their experience of Transcendental Consciousness during the practice, and - on the national level, creating invincibility in collective consciousness.
Another aspect of the initiative to create an Invincible Lebanon is increasing the number of Transcendental Meditation practitioners in the country.

Those already practising are invited to bring family and friends to learn the technique, and to contact their Transcendental Meditation Teacher for an appointment.
* Maharishi Invincibility Centres in major cities around the world offer Maharishi's knowledge and programmes, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to promote enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every nation through development of full potential in every area of life.
** World Peace Assembly: Special in-residence courses designed by Maharishi for groups of Yogic Flyers to come together for extended group practice, and accelerate their own evolution while creating coherence in the collective consciousness of their nation and the world.
