Global Country of World Peace celebrates enlivening invincibility and leadership in every nation

On 24 October 2009, the Global Country of World Peace celebrated the Vedic festival in honour of the day of Karttikeya—the aspect of Natural Law representing the function of commander-in-chief, who takes the lead to overcome any opposition to evolution and who re-establishes the balance in the functioning of the Laws of Nature.
The global celebration, which included special Vedic recitations by Maharishi Vedic Pandits, was broadcast live online via the Maharishi Channel from MERU, Holland, and the Brahma-Sthan (geographical centre) of India.
The purpose of the celebration was to bring strength and energy to the leadership of every country to overcome any problem and be victorious. When the quality of consciousness represented by Karttikeya becomes strong in the collective consciousness of a nation, obstacles are overcome easily and progress of the nation increases. The leaders of the country experience more inner strength and energy to solve national problems and prevent future crises.
Introducing the celebration, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, said, 'Maharishi's Vedic Pandits . . . are going to awaken the reality of Karttikeya in the whole world consciousness . . . . It is so valuable to do this—so important to awaken Karttikeya at this moment on this day of the year, the most auspicious time according to Maharishi Jyotish' (Vedic astrology).
In addition to the Pandits' recitations, the global broadcast also featured the video replay of a brief, historic address by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.
