In a beautiful global web broadcast on 15 October 2009 from MERU, Holland and India, the Global Country of World Peace celebrated the Day of Perfect Health. Maharishi Vedic Pandits performed special traditional Vedic recitations in honour of this auspicious day in the Vedic Calendar celebrating Dhanvantari.
A highlight of the celebration was a video replay of the beautiful, historic address by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, on this occasion on 7 November 2007.
Please see 'Maharishi Mahesh Yogi celebrates . . .' for highlights of Maharishi's address. Maharishi gave a profound discourse about this auspicious day, in terms of the constituent sounds of the name Dhanvantari, and its value in promoting Brahm Vidya, the knowledge of Totality. Maharishi began by saying that the celebration
'. . . has awakened in us that aspect of Brahmi Chetana* which is expressed in the word of Dhanvantari. Dhanvantari is a level of intelligence that is an aspect of the Constitution of the Universe that connects the unmanifest source of the Constitution, with the manifest expression of the Constitution which governs the universe, which governs the health of the universe.'
Speaking from the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland, Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of Invincible India, opened the celebration by introducing the Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahma-Sthan [geographical centre] of India, as well as the group of Pandits in MERU, who all together began the celebration with their traditional ceremonial recitations.
Maharishi's 2007 address was played after the Vedic Pandits' recitations. Raja Harris expressed profound appreciation for Maharishi's address; Dr Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance and Planning of the Global Country of World Peace, closed the celebration by praising the Pandits' perfect performance.
In the coming days, Global Good News will feature the remarks of Raja Harris Kaplan.
