Interest in the Transcendental Meditation Technique in Viet Nam is so great that the biggest challenge is keeping up with the demand.
The programme in Viet Nam began just last year, said Raja Bob LoPinto, Raja of Invincible Viet Nam for the Global Country of World Peace.
Many hundreds of people are attending introductory talks about the Transcendental Meditation Programme, he continued. At one lecture, an audience of about 300 was expected, and instead 900 people came. Another lecture was attended by 200 medical doctors, and 100 young people came to a talk geared to their age group. Another lecture was organized for young business professionals.
'The response has been so overwhelming,' he said. 'Everywhere people are wanting us to come and talk to their group.'
To fulfil this rapidly rising wave of interest, Raja LoPinto warmly invited Teachers of Transcendental Meditation from other countries to join those already teaching in Viet Nam. These include two new Teachers who graduated from the recent Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course in Bulgaria, and a rotating team of Teachers from Malaysia.
Raja LoPinto also mentioned news from the United States, where more progress has been made in realizing the Maharishi Purusha Capital of the Western World in West Virginia. The road to the Capital has been extended and the goal is to begin construction of buildings and have 40 members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme* move in by 12 January of next year, he said.
* Maharishi designed the Maharishi Purusha Programme for men who wish to dedicate themselves fulltime to the most rapid pace of evolution and to creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, and through their administration through silence, fulfilling the goals of the Global Country of World Peace in 192 countries of the world.
