Young people around the world are enjoying the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and are offering their creativity and youthful energy to initiatives to expand these programmes and create a brighter, happier, more peaceful world. In her address to the Guru Purnima* Assembly on 7 July 2009, one of the Raj Rajeshwaris** of the Global Country of World Peace discussed the accomplishments and future plans of these young leaders.

Please see Part I and Part II of this article for more Guru Purnima talks of the Raj Rajeshwaris.

'Many young people have done TTC [Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course] this last year,' she said 'and we also have very brilliant, wonderful people taking top jobs . . . and really making a difference with their creativity and energy—and inspiring everyone around us.'

The Maharishi Purusha Programme*** and the Mother Divine Programme have both started special groups for young people, she continued. Young members of the Purusha Programme are focussing on marketing initiatives and creating a better Internet presence, and young members of the Mother Divine Programme are creating a group for young ladies all over the world called BeDivine.

The Raj Rajeshwari also expressed her appreciation for leaders of the global youth initiative IamU (I am Universal). Through IamU 'great things . . . have started to happen already, and we hope that these blossom into a worldwide [group] of young people who rise together and join hands to bring Total Knowledge to the whole world.'

IamU created a blog website where job opportunities in diverse areas are posted. Young people all over the world can look at the site and and see what is available, she said. 'It's really been amazing how many people have come forward already' she added.

Future plans centre around expansion. 'We want to expand . . . in terms of inspiring young people all over the world to . . . participate in all of Maharishi's beautiful programmes,' she said. She invited young people around the globe to enjoy focussing together on 'this effortless amazing work to create Heaven on Earth'.

In conclusion the Raj Rajeshwari thanked the 'illustrious leaders' and supporters of the Global Country of World Peace whose dedication over many years set the stage for the success of this and future generations. 'We stand on your shoulders,' she said.
