During their tour presenting Consciousness-Based Education in Canada, Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Invincible Canada for the Global Country of World Peace, and Dr Ashley Deans visited Salt Spring Island, off Vancouver Island. They gave a presentation to a World Peace Assembly* in the 'World Peace House'—where Maharishi Mahesh Yogi planned to invite all the leaders of the world to come and experience Heaven on Earth.

Showing slides recently of this beautiful land from where invincibility will be created for Canada, Raja Paul described World Peace House as Pashya BhavanPashya, to see and Bhavan, house—'the house from where you see', since it is on land that has the most glorious views of islands, mountains, the sea and the sunrise with extraordinary nuances of colour, Raja Paul said.

He also reported that Maharishi Sthapatya Veda residences are being built on Salt Spring Island, which Maharishi called Holy Ganges Island. Salt Spring Island is between Vancouver and Vancouver Island, a very strategic and beautiful location. The project began a few years ago.

In a telephone conference call with Canadians about 18 months ago, Maharishi recalled seeing these islands from a ferryboat when he first visited Canada in 1961. During this call, Maharishi asked Raja Harris Kaplan [formerly Raja of Canada, now Raja of India] to tell the world about this most heavenly location. This is meant to be the Capital of Heaven on Earth.

Maharishi said that we want to invite the whole world to come here and experience on the outer field of life that which is almost, as close as possible to, that divine heaven that you experience inside**.

We want to give the world a feeling on the outside of the divinity on the inside, and this is the place to do it. Maharishi said to build a beautiful home for the leaders of the world, a guest house on Holy Ganges Island.

Raja Paul reported that there is currently one house on the land, and the plan is to build two more with at least 30 rooms. Approval has been gained for zoning and construction. He showed designs for the buildings that are in harmony with the design of local buildings in the area. There is great enthusiasm to move ahead with the project among Canadian Teachers of Transcendental Meditation and investors, he said.

* World Peace Assembly: Special courses designed by Maharishi for groups of Yogic Flyers to come together for extended practice of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, to create coherence in the national consciousness of their country and in world consciousness.

** Experience inside: the inner experience of Transcendental Consciousness gained during Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme.

In the coming days Global Good News will feature further articles about the trip of Raja Paul and Dr Ashley Deans in Canada to present Consciousness-Based Education.
