Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes for ideal education, health, and business, and total brain development are becoming widely recognized and implemented in the United States. Dr Robert Roth, Director of Expansion for the Global Country of World Peace in the US, gave an overview of recent major developments in these fields in a report on 19 May 2009.
'Many doors are being opened for Maharishi's programmes in the US,' said Dr Roth, 'due to the rise in collective consciousness brought about by the Invincible America Assembly of Yogic Flyers.'
More and more people are gravitating towards Maharishi's programmes, he said—including a five-fold increase in numbers of people learning the Transcendental Meditation Programme. Moreover, there has been a vast increase in receptivity to programmes being introduced in many areas of society.
One area Dr Roth reported on was increasing receptivity to Transcendental Meditation within US businesses. Many employees, either laid off or overworked because of the economic recession, have turned to TM for its stress-relieving benefits. This progress within the business sphere, continued Dr Roth, can also be attributed to the efforts of Dr Jeffrey Abramson, partner in the successful Tower Companies eco-friendly real estate firm, and a longtime practitioner of Transcendental Meditation.
Global Good News will continue to feature Dr Robert Roth's report on growing recognition in the United States of Maharishi's programmes, including compelling new research on stress-related disorders—ADHD and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome; as well as rising interest in Transcendental Meditation among young people seeking to develop higher states of consciousness.
