Maharishi's universities, schools, institutes throughout India resolve to create enlightenment, invincibility for the nation and world

Dr Girish Varma*, National Director of the Global Country of World Peace for Veda Bhumi Bharat—India, land of the eternal Vedic Tradition of knowledge—announced that all over India recently, special ceremonies were held at the many branches of universities, institutes, schools, and organizations founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.

Participating in these ceremonies were Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools, Maharishi Institutes of Management, Maharishi Mahavidyalaya, and Maharishi Veda Vigyan Vishwa Vidya Peetham; all the campuses and study centres of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwa Vidyalaya and Maharishi University of Management and Technology; and all the Transcendental Meditation Centres—Maharishi Ved Vigyan Bhavan—all offering Maharishi's knowledge and programmes of Total Knowledge, including Consciousness-Based Education, to bring enlightenment to every individual and invincibility to India and every nation.

In each locale, local leaders with their participants who practise Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, faculty, students, and family members performed Puja [Vedic ceremony of gratitude] to Guru Dev**, and expressed their intention to do everything they can to fulfil all of Maharishi's programmes for all mankind, for all times to come.

* Dr Girish Chandra Varma is also Director-General of the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahma-Sthan [geographical centre] of India, Chairman of the 160 Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, and President of Maharishi Institutes of Management and Information Technology in India.
