On the auspicious Day of Lasting Achievements, Akshaya Tritiya in the Vedic Calendar, many countries made resolutions and launched initiatives for the coming year, in the areas of education, health, enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for the nation.
Raja Michael Dillbeck, Raja of Invincible France, Latvia, Mauritius, Fiji, Algeria, Cameroon, Tonga, and Congo for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on initiatives launched by countries in his domain on the following day, 28 April 2009.
Latvia: Coordination began for activities among Global Country of World Peace members in establishing Invincibility Schools in Riga.
Algeria: Initial steps were taken to organize a new company for the import and sale of Maharishi Ayur-Veda products and services.
Fiji: A meeting was held with government officials—the last step necessary to obtain formal approval to begin instructing large groups of students in the Transcendental Meditation Programme in one of the country's schools. At this school, whose faculty have already learned TM through the generosity of the David Lynch Foundation, the next immediately goal will be for 300 students to learn the practice, thus providing a basis for national invincibility. After that, the aim will be for 100 of those students to learn Yogic Flying.
Mauritius: An initiative was launched to inform all school leaders and government officials in the country of the benefits of Consciousness-Based Education for enlightenment and invincibility. A meeting was held with the mayor of one of the island's largest cities to describe the Consciousness-Based Education programme thoroughly, and presentations to school and college principals will begin shortly.
In his concluding remarks, Raja Dillbeck said that Global Country of World Peace members in all of these countries joined together on Akshaya Tritiya to express deepest gratitude to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for transforming the world with his knowledge, and to begin these important activities to establish invincibility for their nations.
