Iceland: Educators, government, media learn about Consciousness-Based Education via upcoming Paul McCartney concert

'Change Begins Within', the upcoming 4 April concert in New York City featuring Paul McCartney and other stars in a benefit for the David Lynch Foundation, has become a catalyst for educators, government officials and news media in Iceland to learn more about Consciousness-Based Education and the Transcendental Meditation Programme.

The National Director of Iceland for the Global Country of World Peace reported this news during a recent presentation on initiatives to create coherence in the national consciousness of Iceland, to fulfil Maharishi's programme for creating world peace—which calls for creating invincibility in the nation and in every country.

The National Director said many members of the media, government ministers, and educators are being contacted about the concert, which will be a benefit for the David Lynch Foundation, to raise funds for one million school children to learn Transcendental Meditation.

The national organization for Transcendental Meditation in Iceland is also inspiring long-term practitioners of the technique to deepen their experience and gain further knowledge of Maharishi's programmes.

Meetings have been organized for establishing the Global Mother Divine Organization in Iceland. One of the lady Teachers of Transcendental Meditation has been appointed National Director for this organization, the ladies' wing of the Global Country of World Peace.
