Botswana has taken a step toward national invincibility as the first people in the nation have taken the opportunity to learn the Transcendental Meditation Programme and enjoy its wide-ranging benefits for the first time, said Raja Graham de Freitas, Raja of Invincible Botswana for the Global Country of World Peace.

A Teacher of Transcendental Meditation from neighbouring South Africa has visited Botswana to offer Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's knowledge and programmes.

His presentations, some of which were given at a cardiovascular clinic*, generated great interest. He taught Transcendental Meditation to a group of people—the first to learn in Botswana—during his last visit to the country. He will return to the nation shortly to teach the many others who want to learn the programme.

*Extensive scientific research has shown the benefits of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme for cardiovascular health.
