Northern Ireland: Independent filmmaker supports Belfast Peace Palace initiative

Plans for two six-storey Maharishi Peace Palaces are underway in Belfast.

The site has been cleared for construction and other aspects of the project are moving forward, Raja Tom Stanley, Raja of Invincible Northern Ireland for the Global Country of World Peace, said on 12 February.

An independent filmmaker who practises Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique has created a short video promoting the Northern Ireland Peace Palace project. She was inspired by the initiative to transform conflict in the region into peace and harmony.

This project will create invincibility not only for Northern Ireland, but also for Ireland as a whole, Raja Stanley said.

The video highlights the small group located on the peace line in Belfast creating peace and harmony through Transcendental Meditation and Stress-Free Schools.

Just one per cent of a population practising the Transcendental Meditation Programme, or the square root of one per cent of a population practising Yogic Flying as a group, creates a powerful influence of coherence and positivity in the whole society*, the video explains. Viewers are invited on the video to support the initiative.

The video is available on YouTube, and received honours this past week as the most viewed video in the non-profit and activism category, Raja Stanley said.
