Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of India for the Global Country of World Peace, recently reported on the initiative to have a large group of Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits at the Brahma-Sthan—geographical centre—of the nation, creating permanent peace for the world. He also presented an overview of a beautiful website which explains the project in detail, and offers individuals the opportunity to support world peace.

Commenting on the entire initiative, Raja Kaplan said, 'I have personally absolutely no doubt that if we want it, it will happen. The miracle of creating in this generation 8,000 Vedic Pandits for all time—that miracle actually already happened. And I can say that because Maharishi has already designed it, he conceived it, he planned it, he organized—under the great leadership of Dr Girish Varma [National Director of the Global Country of World Peace for India]*—the whole team to do it. So the miracle—which is to think of a world which could be permanently in peace—is already done. What we have to do is to finish the process and that we can do.'

Dr Arlene Kaplan recently commented, Raja Kaplan said, that Maharishi's accomplishment was almost incomprehensible—'that someone could think of having Yagyas, not just for the [Global Country of World Peace], or not just for a person, but to conceive of a plan to create permanent world peace. That was the greatest legacy that the human race has ever seen, and that was the legacy that she was saying, and all the mothers of the world were saying, we have to fulfill.

Construction of the campus for 8,000 Vedic Pandits will cost an estimated US$75 million, Raja Kaplan reported. This is not a large amount for the creation of a permanently peaceful world, he noted. Raja Kaplan added that the immediate costs for the next phase of the project are US$25 million.

'It's very, very important to understand', Raja Kaplan said, that for the Vedic Pandits to create and maintain permanent peace throughout the world, they 'have to be taken care of' and supported in comfort and dignity. Without this support, they would need to find other work and would be unable to dedicate their time to their Vedic performances—which are essential for peace, harmony, affluence, and all positivity to blossom in the world, and to safeguard individuals and nations from calamity. It would be an inestimable loss to humanity not to fully support the Vedic Pandits.

'So it's on all of us, if we say we want to finish what Maharishi started and blessed us with, and have that enormous joy of finishing that royally and completely—this is the time to do it.

'We've created a website that reminds everyone of what this project is,' Raja Kaplan continued, 'and there are a number of names to get to the website. The easiest to remember are SupportVedicPandits.com and CapitalofWorldPeace.org.

The website features beautiful presentations by the leaders of the Global Country of World Peace, Raja Kaplan continued. Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, 'gives a fantastic overview of Maharishi's vision for Raam Raj—and specifically the link to that seat of permanent silence in the Brahma-Sthan and its connection to the 12 Jyotir Linga** and the 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars**, Raja Kaplan said.

There is also 'a brilliant presentation by . . . Raja Dr John Hagelin, the Raja of Invincible America, on the scientific basis of invincibility through Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits.

Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Global Reconstruction for the Global Country of World Peace, gives 'an unbelievably beautiful and inspiring presentation' about both the initial project to build a campus for 8,000 Vedic Pandits and an overview of the completed campus for 16,000 Vedic Pandits. Dr Hartmann is responsible for all the construction design at the Brahma-Sthan.

'Finally there's a beautiful short presentation by . . . Dr Girish Varma on the vision of creating Heaven on Earth [a time of all-good for everyone] in India.'

Raja Kaplan said that peace-loving citizens of every nation are invited to contribute to this great endeavor, which can be done on the website.

Several million dollars have been donated by generous well-wishers of peace in the past few weeks, Raja Kaplan said, adding that Maharishi established the Brahmanand Saraswati Foundation 'to ensure that all these Pandits will always be taken care of perfectly'.

At the conclusion of his talk, Raja Kaplan announced that this coming winter, 'at the time it's most beautiful in the Brahma-Sthan, we're going to hold a refresher course for all those who took the Enlightenment Conferences' [special advanced courses for individuals practising the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, which Maharishi began holding in 2002]. Raja Kaplan also invited anyone who has not yet taken the Enlightenment Conference to come, for the original course fee, to the Brahma-Sthan of India 'and enjoy what will be the greatest month of your life'. The course will be held at the nearly-completed Raja Palaces on a separate campus at the Brahma-Sthan.

* Dr Girish Chandra Varma is also Minister of Higher Education of the Global Country of World Peace; Director-General of the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahma-Sthan of India; Chairman of the 160 Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group; and President of the Maharishi Institutes of Management and Information Technology, in India.

** Maharishi has perfected his administrative organization in all the countries of the world by establishing an administrative structure centered around the 12 sacred Jyotir Linga in India--each of the 12 Linga associated with four key cities of India, with a special administrative locale in the city known as the Brahmanand Saraswati Nagar in honour of Maharishi's Master—Shri Guru Dev, His Divinity Brahmanand Saraswati, Jagatguru Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math, Himalayas. Each of these 48 cities maintains a relationship with four countries of the world, totalling 192 countries.

Global Good News will feature the continuation of Raja Kaplan's talk in the coming days.
